About the department
The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology offers programmes that combine a strong theoretical foundation with extensive laboratory work, covering programming, data structures, databases, computer networks, operating systems and web technologies. Students are encouraged to take up project work from an early stage.

To develop competent, ethical and industry-ready computing professionals.
Mission
To deliver a current computing curriculum, to provide hands-on laboratory experience in every subject area, and to encourage project work and participation in technical events.
